If you thought Indian’s are a obsessed lot with fixations like “fair skin”, “virginity” and “phoren return status” among several others, think again. Every country in this world have some or the other cultural fixation. Let’s take a tour!

 Japan

Heard of “Kawaii”? It means cuteness quotient in the Japanese culture. Pikachu, Hello Kitty, Snoopy have all originated from Japan. Japanese consider big eyes as cute -so many women go for plastic surgery to get it. Most Japanese merchandise enhance their  cuteness quotient by bringing in stars, bows, rainbows in their intrinsic design. OMG! Cuteness overload here!!!

China

Indians aren’t the only ones to be fixated with white skin. Chinese women are said to  be obsessed with Bai-fu-mei– or “white”, “rich”, “beautiful”. 90 percent of the women here are known to use skin lightening creams.

Women are known to be obsessed with their weight, a lot. According to a research conducted by Roy Morgan, 72% of Australian women (aged 18+) say they would like to lose weight, irrespective of the fact whether they need to lose weight or not. (Source)

British in general are known to obsess over weather in general. Conversations begin with weather forecasts and more discussion about weather follows.
