What are some of the initial hurdles you faced when starting up

Having prior designing experience helped me in gauging the market pulse. Hence designing the product wasn’t difficult. The difficult part was entering the “entrepreneurship mind-set ” after having worked almost for 12 years as a designer in a corporate set-up.

Right from sourcing the team to finalizing the legal part of the start-up, I had to start from level zero. Each day has been a new learning for me , apart from the core tasks of designing and product creation.

What have been your top 5 learning as an entrepreneur

  1. Having a strong “WHY” is must that keeps you moving ahead strongly through difficult times.
  2. If you are really passionate about what you do, the journey along with its up and downs is completely worth it.
  3. Be grateful for every situation as it teaches you something bigger and better.
  4. Pick your goal and you will know what to do next.
  5. Develop a network based on performance and credibility that you can fall back on, in times of need.

What is one success mantra you have to give women to get ahead in life

As long as you put in a honest day’s work, show enterprise and take calculated risks, you shouldn’t mind failures. Also family and your team at work can be your biggest support. They make it work for you in every situation.
